Looking for a Family-Friendly Event to Spend Together?

The United States Patent and Trademark Office will present a National Trademark Expo May 8 and 9, 2009. The event will be held on the agency’s campus in Alexandria, Virginia, at 600 Dulany Street in the atrium of the Madison Building. The Expo is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, May 8 and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 9.  The Expo is free, fun and informative for the whole family.

The Expo will feature exciting colorful interactive exhibits that illustrate the pervasive and important role trademarks play in our economy.  Visitors will learn about the many different kinds of trademarks such as sound, shape and color, and will also learn about the history and evolution of trademarks, some of which are more than 100 years old. Iconic trademarked characters like the Pillsbury Doughboy, Hershey’s Kiss, and Sprout will make appearances during the two day event. They will be joined by the USPTO’s Trademark Expo character, T.Markey.

Just what I was looking for! I was searching articles for our site when I came across your post (on Carlyle Community » Looking for a Family-Friendly Event to Spend Together? ) which I found on AOL. We would love you to write for us, if interested. I’ve bookmarked this post for future reference. Nice comments here as well – Cheers from Extreme Sport Guidebook
