HOMICIDES
PAYNE ST. N., 600 block, 6:04 p.m. June 18. Police found Michael James Horton, 45, of Butler, Pa., lying on the ground with trauma to the upper body. Horton was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

ASSAULTS
ELLSWORTH ST., 100 block, 1:06 a.m. June 21. An assault was reported. An arrest was made.

HENRY ST. N., 900 block, 8:34 p.m. June 20. An assault was reported.

MILL RD., 2000 block, 10:36 p.m. June 23. A person who was under arrest allegedly assaulted a police officer.

ROYAL ST. N., 400 block, 8:11 p.m. June 23. An assault was reported. An arrest was made.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS
BRAXTON PL., 500 block, 4:37 p.m. June 22. A theft was reported.

CAMBRIDGE RD., 400 block, 9:56 a.m. June 18. A package was stolen from a doorstep.

CAMERON ST., 100 block, 1:15 p.m. June 22. Property was removed from a residence.

DUKE ST., 3100 block, 10:26 a.m. June 18. A laptop computer, a computer case and an electrical cord were stolen from a vehicle.

DUKE ST., 3100 block, 2:59 a.m. June 22. A wallet was stolen from a store. Credit cards were used to make purchases.

DUKE ST., 3200 block, 12:36 p.m. June 23. An iPhone on a table was stolen.

DUKE ST., 500 block, 6:15 p.m. June 19. A copper gutter and drain spouts were stolen from a residence.

EDDINGTON TERR., 2900 block, 10:59 a.m. June 22. A theft was reported.

EISENHOWER AVE., 2800 block, 3:43 p.m. June 22. License plates were stolen from a vehicle.

FIRST ST., 500 block, 9:28 p.m. June 23. A shoplifting incident was reported. An arrest was made.

HENRY ST. N., 900 block, 2:07 a.m. June 19. An inner tube was removed from a bicycle.

HIGHLAND PL., 500 block, 7:26 p.m. June 22. CDs and other property were stolen from a vehicle.

LEE ST. S., 600 block, 5 p.m. June 22. A bicycle was stolen from a backyard.

NORTH FAIRFAX AND ORONOCO STREETS, 12:46 p.m. June 23. A wallet and other property were stolen from a vehicle.

PRINCE ST., 1000 block, 4:27 p.m. June 18. Copper piping was stolen from a residence.

PRINCE ST., 1000 block, 6:42 a.m. June 19. Copper wire was stolen from a residence.

PRINCE ST., 400 block, 11:21 a.m. June 22. A license plate was stolen from a vehicle.

PRINCE ST., 700 block, 1:23 a.m. June 22. A Global Positioning System device and Sirius radio were stolen from a vehicle.

PRINCE ST., 9:23 a.m. June 22. A theft was reported.

ST. ASAPH ST. N., 800 block, 1:40 p.m. June 19. LCD monitors were removed from a vehicle.

UNION ST. N., 100 block, 3:34 p.m. June 22. A theft was reported.

UPLAND PL., 700 block, 1:39 p.m. June 23. A Global Positioning System device was stolen from a vehicle.

UPLAND PL., 700 block, 8:03 p.m. June 22. A vehicle was entered. Nothing was reported stolen.

WALNUT ST. W., 1-100 block, 3:06 a.m. June 18. Electronic devices were stolen from several vehicles.

WASHINGTON ST. N., 100 block, 1:55 p.m. June 21. A purse was removed from a shopping cart.

WASHINGTON ST. N., 100 block, 9:56 a.m. June 18. A bicycle was stolen.

WEST ST. N., 500 block, 8:03 a.m. June 18. A backpack and a flashlight were stolen from the trunk of a vehicle.

WEST ST. N., 700 block, 10:55 a.m. June 23. A bicycle and lock were stolen from a rack in front of a Metro station.

WEST ST. S., 100 block, 3:30 p.m. June 18. A stroller outside a store was stolen.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS
FRANKLIN ST., 200 block, 10:19 a.m. June 22. A Ford truck was stolen.

ST. ASAPH ST. N., 800 block, 9:46 p.m. June 18. A black 1998 Toyota Tacoma was stolen.
