Happy 3rd Birthday to our blog!
It was three short (where did the time go?) years ago we began this blog on this day because as a resident I was writing a blurb on community affairs in our condos monthly newsletter and there was (and still is) so much going on in and around our neighborhood. I just couldn’t fit it all in the monthly column.
To celebrate, here’s one of my favorite birthday moments of all time.
I hope you are enjoying reading the blog as we head into our third year online. The goal for this blog has always been and will continue to be a way to pass information to the folks in Carlyle. All kinds of information: community events, construction information, woodrow wilson bridge construction information, etc.
I’ve posted this before as it is hard to keep up the blog myself so, this is our annual appeal for volunteers to help with the blog. Have you ever wanted to write/write for a blog but didn’t know how? Have a blog and enjoy writing?
We’re looking to take this blog to the next level and we’re looking for volunteers to write on things related to music, sports, food, city/public affairs, education, arts, technology, and whatever else you think folks might like to know about.
If you’re interested in helping out, feel free to send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
UPDATE: I initially had Happy 2nd Birthday but as my wife pointed out, it’s actually our third since the blog was born in 2008. Just goes to show that guys need a good woman to keep them straight.
