If you are working out at Jungle’s Gym on Hoof’s Run Drive in South Carlyle and need to replace your lost calories or if you are just looking for a different place to get a bite to eat in Carlyle, we have it on good word that the long-awaited Foster’s Grille is opening soon at 2004 Eisenhower Ave in the Carlyle neighborhood.

One of our readers tipped us off that they were putting up the signs today. So it looks like we’re getting close to seeing the first activity in that space since the Hoffman Company renovated it 2-3 years ago.

Foster’s Grille (Home of the Charburger) is a franchise endeavor targeting “middle Americans” with household incomes over $50,000. Locations are all on the East Coast, with 15 shops in Virginia, the closest right now being Vienna. More info at

Now if only Hoffman can get CVS or Rite Aid to change their mind.
