Woman Raped in Alexandria – Near Carlyle (Video)

A woman was raped early Tuesday morning about a block from the Whole Foods Market and right near our neighborhood.

WJLA reports:

A 22-year-old woman was raped early Tuesday morning along Duke Street, about two blocks from the King Street Metro Station.

Alexandria police said the woman was walking in the 1600 block of Duke Street just after midnight Tuesday when a man grabbed her. The man had a box cutter and forced her into an alley, where he sexually assaulted her, police said.
