Superbowl Sunday at Butcher’s Block and Jackson 20

Super Bowl Sunday isn’t just about the game, or the commercials. As any real football fan knows, it’s all about the food. Super Bowl parties are like a really big tailgate party and you can’t have a good tailgate party without good food.

This February, Kimpton wants to help food and sport lovers in Alexandria celebrate Super Bowl Sunday with indulgent comfort foods at Jackson 20 and restaurant-quality party fare that can be pre-ordered from the Butcher’s Block:

Butcher’s Block, Robert Wiedmaier’s popular food market, will offer a Super Bowl menu, where shoppers can pre-order the perfect party dishes to serve at home for the big game. Fan favorites like merguez ‘lil’ smokies’ and baked beans with applewood smoked bacon and chicken, will also be available in the daily meat case on pick-up day. Can I just pause here for a moment and say yum! Bulk discounts on pre-ordered cases of the new and expanded craft beer menu will also be available.

If you don’t feel like hosting a party or cooking yourself on Super Bowl Sunday, Jackson 20 will serve specialty tavern items in celebration of the big game on February 6th. Between 5:00 p.m. to close, a special $20.11 Super Bowl Menu will be available, featuring selections from Chef Dennis Marron’s popular craft canned beer list, a burger, beer and a brownie, or all-you-can eat ribs.
