City of Alexandria: Winter Weather Update

Looks like we might just get significant snowfall in Alexandria & Carlyle tonight!

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for the City of Alexandria until 4 a.m. on Thursday, January 27. Accumulation of five to ten inches of snow is possible.

The City of Alexandria has canceled all evening activities after 6 p.m. on Wednesday, January 26, and all Alexandria libraries and recreation centers will close tonight at 6 p.m. Out of School Time program participants should be picked up as soon as possible, although centers will remain open until all children are picked up.
