Happy Palm Sunday! (Video)

Palm Sunday, the final Sunday in Lent before Easter, marks the beginning of Holy Week. Christian churches distribute palms on Palm Sunday to commemorate Christ’s triumphal entrance into Jerusalem, when palm branches were placed in His path, before His arrest and Crucifixion on Good Friday.

Today, Christ Church Alexandria and St. Paul’s Episcopal Church are meeting in Market Square at 9:00 a.m. for a short opening service before their procession to their churches.
