What’s New In Alexandria – Arlandria Plan (Video) [REPOST]

NOTE: This is a repost of a popular post that was lost in the recent domain outage.

There are some exciting things happening in Arlandria these days and in the latest video installment of ‘What’s New In Alexandria,’ the City of Alexandria highlights the effort of the City and citizens joining forces to produce the Arlandria plan.

The Arlandria Plan, adopted in 2003, includes recommendations for intersection improvements, zoning changes, support for local businesses, streetscape and gateway improvements, and the expansion of Four Mile Run Park. The community has helped with the effort, by transforming a vacant parcel of land into the Four Mile Run Farmers’ and Artisans Market, and renovating a vacant paint store into a multi-purposecommunity building.
