An Evening with General Edward Braddock

The Commander-in-Chief of the British Army in North America, General Edward Braddock, will grant a rare personal interview in this Alexandria Heritage Series performance at The Lyceum, 201 South Washington Street. Briefly the commander of all British forces in North America, His Excellency can be expected to share his private opinions about the empire vision of his superiors, his role in their enterprise and his uncooperative colonial subordinates.

Jim Carmalt of the Little Theatre of Alexandria will interpret General Braddock, and James Thompson, author and publisher of Commonwealth Books, will conduct the interview. Performance will be followed by a reception in which patrons may engage General Braddock over wine and hors d’oeuvres.

Tickets are $12 and the performance begins at 7 p.m.
