On Friday night, Engine 204 responded to a fire call on Rolfe Place in North Old Town and as the ‘first due’ on scene, got there 2 minutes before any other help arrived (see below). I have posted before on what can happen in a fire in the span of two (2) minutes. The Alexandria City Manager and members of City Council acknowledge that moving Engine 204 to Station 210 will cause response times to GET WORSE in North Old Town, Rosemont, and Del Ray.

Tell Mayor Euille and the Alexandria City Council to fund not only Station 210 but to keep Engine 204.
