Adam Ebbin Is a Good Choice For Congress But, Is He the Right Choice?

This is the fifth in a series of seven posts on today’s Democratic primary. You can see the first four herehere, here, and here. I will be letting you know who I voted for in the seventh post in the series.

Having watched a lot of tape of the recent debates among the Democrats running for Jim Moran’s seat in Congress, it is time to review Adam Ebbin for Congress.

Having reviewed Adam’s record in the General Assembly as a Delegate and State Senator, the vast majority of the bills he co-patroned in the General Assembly have been Democratic ones. While he has gotten some smaller issue bills through the legislature, this tells me he is not very willing to reach across the aisle to work with Republicans. He is also pushing the same issues that Jim Moran has in Congress. Nothing new IMHO.

The other thing that concerns me is that I hear from many Democrats that Adam Ebbin has taken money and he has been supportive of payday lenders in the Commonwealth. These payday lenders prey on the poor.

That is why I did not vote for Adam Ebbin.
