Shame on Don Beyer and the Alexandria Democratic Party

Don Beyer campaign sign on Route 1 in Alexandria, Virginia

It has been over one (1) month now since Don Beyer trounced his challengers in the Democratic Primary for the 8th district Congressional seat held by Congressman Jim Moran.

Over one (1) month later, Alexandria’s streets continue to be littered with dozens of street signs in the medians from political campaigns including Don Beyer, Mark Levine, Lavern Chatman, and others in clear violation of Alexandria’s zoning ordinance.

Having these signs still out on our City streets this long after the election does our City no good and one would think that the Alexandria Democratic Party would be better stewards of our City. These street signs should have been picked up long ago by all campaigns. What do you think?

Isn’t Don Beyer still running for Congress?

True but, signs can only be in the median 90 days before an election.

Credit to hope, most of his signs went down the day after the primary. Only seen a couple of stragglers they missed since then.
