The Notch 8 apartments, named for the railroad term meaning “full speed ahead,” is moving full speed ahead and making progress  in Potomac Yard. Notch 8 will be an apartment building with a 70,000 SF Grocery Store (Giant Food) on the ground floor.

Notch 8 is designed to achieve LEED® certification and features a total of 253 units in a six-story, wood-framed building with amenities including a pool, bathhouse, party room, and green roof courtyard. The community includes 480 below-grade parking spaces across three levels with designated electric vehicle charging stations.

Above you can see that the construction crew is nearly done with the first floor.
