Donate School Supplies and Ride DASH Bus Free on Wednesday, August 20, 2014

DASH Bus has partnered with Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS), Family and Community Engagement (FACE), and Community Partners for Children (CPC) for the 23rd Annual Back-to-School Supply Drive to benefit children in ACPS. The school supplies will be distributed to students at the ACPS Family and Community Engagement Center’s annual Back to School Family Night at T.C. Williams High School.

Passengers who bring new, unopened school supplies (i.e. backpacks, notebooks, lunchboxes, etc.) will receive a FREE RIDE on the DASH bus system. Passengers are requested to place their donation in the special bin located at the front of the DASH bus.

Donations also accepted at the Alexandria Transit Store located at 1775-C Duke Street. (next to the Embassy Suites) across from the King St. Metro Station now through Aug. 20.
