The third community meeting regarding the Eisenhower West Small Area Plan will take place Monday, Sept. 29, at Beatley Central Library, located at 5005 Duke Street in Alexandria.
An open house at 6:30 PM. will be followed by a plan elements workshop at 7:00 PM.
The Alexandria City Council identified the Eisenhower West Small Area Plan as the major planning effort to begin in 2014. The small area planning process has begun, with an anticipated completion date in mid- to late 2015. Larger community meetings and multiple steering committee meetings will be held to guide the planning efforts, along with opportunities for online engagement.
