Bicycle Theft Ring Operating in Alexandria

The Alexandria Police Department (APD) wants the community to know that there’s a group of teenagers just roaming around stealing citizens’ bikes. They would like everyone to be on the lookout for any unknown or unfamiliar juveniles loitering in your neighborhood and call APD if you see anyone that fits that description. You can call APD at the non-emergency number at 703.746.4444.

APD says that even if it appears that they are just passing through, they would like to at least respond and let them see a police presence to discourage any potential thefts.
