Dominion Power’s High Voltage Alexandria Line Delayed Again

Dominion Virginia Power has notified the City of Alexandria today that it has again delayed plans to build a high voltage 230KV underground power line through Alexandria, citing a new lower forecast for electrical demand.  As readers know, the initial plan was to file with the Virginia State Corporation Commission in January 2015, but Dominion will now revisit that decision sometime during summer 2015.
