New Prince Street Hotel Nearing Completion in Alexandria

This is an update to this postthis postthis post, this post, and this post.

I stopped by the construction site of the new Prince Street Hotel at 1620 Prince Street this morning. This site is due to become a six-story hotel run by the Hilton Garden Inn. The architect is Rust Orling Architecture of Alexandria and the 87,855 square-foot, 109-room building is owned by Carr City Centers and has been designed to achieve LEED® Silver certification.

The hotel WAS due to deliver in December 2014 and sources tell me a major effort is now underway by the construction team to complete the project by the end of THIS week (February 7) or by next week at the latest.

I will try and find out an opening date for our readers.
