Where Were You 5 years Ago Today for Snowmageddon? #TBT #ThrowbackThursday

In addition to this look back at the old marquee of the Old Town Theater in Alexandria, Virginia on Throwback Thursday, I have a question for readers. Where you you five years ago TODAY (February 5) when the first phase of Snowmageddon hit our area?

Check out this image from the NASA’s Terra satellite of the size of the Snowmageddon blizzard taken with the on board Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS). The image really shows the size of the storm and how the snow we got that year really highlights the topography around the Appalachian Mountains.

You can also check out photos I took from around the Alexandria area of Snowmageddon at this link and this link.
