The Old Town Theater in Alexandria #ThrowbackThursday #TBT

Old Town Theater in Alexandria, Virginia

This Throwback Thursday, we’re back on King Street in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia with a look at the old marquee of the Old Town Theater. With so much interest in what is going to happen to the theater, thought we’d take a look at what the marquee looked like before the most recent renovation.

Did you know it used to be called the ‘Richmond Theater’? The Alexandria Times also has a nice article from the Office of Historic Alexandria on the origin of the Old Town Theater.
