radioshack-logo
As you may have heard, late last week, RadioShack filed for bankruptcy and Chapter 11 protection. Because of the action taken, the company is closing thousands of stores nationally and is selling as many as 2,400 of its stores to hedge fund Standard General which will in turn convert the stores.

According to court documents that have been released, the Alexandria-area store in the Belle View Shopping Center will close as will the store at the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City. The RadioShack at 3425 King Street in the Fairlington/Bradlee neighborhood of Alexandria, Virginia near the Bradlee Shopping Center  is open for now until further notice as is the South Valley and Kingstowne locations.
