Alexandria Police Looking for Stolen Food Truck

by Lee Hernly, Editor

This is the second one stolen in the City in the last three months. The previous one was recovered in 24 hours.

The Sate Food Truck, which serves Indonesian food, was reported stolen Saturday. The Alexandria Police Department believes that, like the last incident, it was taken some time overnight this time from the 600 block of South Van Dorn Street. The address is a block from Satay Sarinah, the brick-and-mortar restaurant that the food truck is associated with.

The stolen truck is dark red and has a logo with a rooster on it. You can see another picture of the truck at this link and the license plate is at this link.
