Cathal Armstrong Opening First D.C. Restaurant on SW Waterfront in 2018

This is huge news for the SW waterfront area that is undergoing a revitalization. This announcement had been the subject of speculation in the local restaurant industry since EatGoodFood closed the Eamonn’s and TNT Bar in Arlington.

Another article noted he has — quote — had a few spots close in recent years, including The Majestic in Old Town, Eamonn’s, Society Fair and TNT Bar in Arlington, and they ended an agreement to run the King Street restaurant Virtue Feed & Grain.

What’s up with that? Is the crown off Sir Cathal? Maybe he needs more discriminating tastes?
