KIDNAPPING

Seminary Rd., 5000 block, 3:56 a.m. March 23. A female was abducted from her hotel room by a stranger.

WEAPONS

Duke St., 4600 block, 8:24 p.m. March 24. A convicted felon was arrested in connection with illegal firearm possession.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

Armistead St. N., 400 block, 5:09 p.m. March 20. A sexual assault was reported.

ASSAULTS

Braddock Rd. W., 3800 block, 9:45 a.m. March 20. An assault was reported.

Breckinridge Pl. N., 200 block, 2:41 p.m. March 21. Several people were involved in a fight at a parking lot.

Duke St., 4200 block, 9:12 p.m. March 19. Someone assaulted an acquaintance.

Duke St., 4200 block, 3:30 p.m. March 20. Two students assaulted a third student as they were getting off a bus.

Duke St., 6200 block, 7:05 p.m. March 23. Two or more acquaintances were involved in an assault.

Edsall Rd., 6100 block, 2:29 a.m. March 23. Two or more acquaintances were involved in an assault. An arrest was made.

Florence Dr., 3800 block, 10:44 p.m. March 23. A group attacked a boy when he got out of a school bus.

Hudson St. S., 100 block, 3:09 p.m. March 22. Two or more acquaintances were involved in an assault.

Kenmore Ave., 4700 block, 7:29 p.m. March 22. Two or more acquaintances were involved in an assault.

King St., 4300 block, 12:52 a.m. March 19. A woman’s car keys were taken by an acquaintance, who locked the keys in the woman’s car in a garage.

King St., 3300 block, 5:06 p.m. March 20. A student assaulted another student. An arrest was made.

Madison St., 800 block, 12:25 p.m. March 23. Two or more acquaintances were involved in an assault.

Wythe St., 1300 block, 7:49 p.m. March 25. An arrest was made in connection with an assault.

ROBBERIES

Armistead St. N., 400 block, 8:34 p.m. March 19. A male was assaulted and robbed of three pairs of shoes that he was trying to sell.

Cameron St., 1500 block, 9:31 a.m. March 19. A woman was robbed of cash by an acquaintance, who spat in her face.

Duke St., 3000 block, 12:22 a.m. March 22. Two males made sexual advances to two or more people, then took their beer and ran away.

N. Henry and Wythe streets, 7:17 p.m. March 21. A female was robbed of cash by an acquaintance. An arrest was made.

Mount Vernon Ave., 3800 block, 11:55 p.m. March 21. A male who was sleeping in his vehicle in a parking lot was hit on the head with a gun and robbed of a wallet.

Quantrell Ave., 5800 block, 7 p.m. March 24. Two brothers and two other people fought. One took a pair of sneakers.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Abingdon Dr. W., 1600 block, 11:25 a.m. March 24. Two purses were stolen from a vehicle entered by breaking a window.

Armistead St. N., 500 block, 6:40 p.m. March 20. Bank notes and credit card checks delivered to the owner’s old address were used to acquire cash.

Blue Stone Rd., 200 block, 7:25 a.m. March 19. A leather coat was stolen from a vehicle entered by breaking a window.

Braddock Pl., 1200 block, 2:39 p.m. March 21. Four tires and rims were stolen from a vehicle.

Columbus St. N., 700 block, 1:30 p.m. March 21. Property was taken from an unlocked vehicle. It was later recovered.

Duke St., 5700 block, 4 p.m. March 23. A person was arrested in connection with shoplifting.

Duke St., 1800 block, 5:10 p.m. March 23. An employee took a laptop computer from a business and did not return it.

Duncan Ave. E., 500 block, 10:20 a.m. March 19. Flowers were dug up from a yard.

Essex Ct., 5300 block, 12:44 a.m. A book was stolen from a delivered package left at a residence.

Highview Lane N., 1400 block, 9:55 p.m. March 20. Glassware, dishes, silver platters and silver spoons were stolen from a locked apartment.

Jordan St. S., 1-99 block, 1:21 a.m. March 24. A male stole a firearm from a female acquaintance while traveling in her car.

Kenmore Ave., 4700 block, 8:17 p.m. March 25. A burglary was reported.

King St., 4300 block, 6:41 p.m. March 19. A smartphone was stolen from an unlocked locker at a gym.

King St., 3300 block, 11:07 a.m. March 20. A smartphone was stolen from the back of a school classroom where it had been left to charge its battery.

King St., 3300 block, 9:55 a.m. March 23. A tablet computer, sunglasses, headphones and a house key were stolen from a student’s backpack at a school.

King St., 4500 block, 7:05 p.m. March 23. A tablet computer and sunglasses were stolen from an unlocked vehicle at a parking lot.

Lee St. S., 200 block, 1:55 p.m. March 21. A bike was stolen from a back yard.

Luna Park, 200 block, 9:37 a.m. March 21. Four tires and wheels were stolen from a vehicle parked in a garage.

Madison St., 1300 block, 6:05 p.m. March 19. A smartphone and a tablet computer were stolen from a residence.

Oakville St., 2400 block, 3:38 p.m. March 23. Cash and a credit card were stolen from a vehicle.

VANDALISM

Armistead St., 400 block, 9:52 a.m. March 19. An object was thrown through a window, breaking it.

Beauregard St. N., 1400 block, 12:04 a.m. March 22. An object was thrown through a bedroom window.

Dorset Dr., 5500 block, 7:59 p.m. March 22. A gym was damaged.

Cliff St. E., 1-99 block, 9:41 a.m. March 23. A parked vehicle in an alley was damaged.

Janneys Lane and King St., 4:05 a.m. March 21. An alleged drunk driver was arrested and charged with destruction of property.

Paxton St. N., 100 block, 4:14 p.m. March 22. Destruction of property was reported.

Reynolds St. S., 200 block, 8:17 p.m. March 25. Destruction of property was reported.

Seay St., 2800 block, 11:40 a.m. March 25. Destruction of property was reported.

Taney Ave., 4300 block, 4:53 a.m. March 19. Windows of four parked vehicles were damaged.

Vermont Ave., 3900 block, 4:23 p.m. March 22. Someone jumped onto a parked vehicle, damaging the hood.

Wheeler Ave., 3900 block, 10:26 a.m. Someone threw rocks at a dump truck, cracking the windshield and breaking a passenger window.

Wheeler Ave., 4300 block, 11:19 a.m. March 23. Two trucks were vandalized in a business lot.

Yoakum Pkwy., 200 block, 1:30 p.m. March 24. A vehicle was scratched, and three tires were punctured.
