Braddock Road Interim Open Space in the Braddock Road Metro neighborhood of Alexandria, Virginia

As we told you FIRST, The new half-acre open space at 600 North Henry Street(next to the Wythe Street Post Office) in the Braddock Road Metro neighborhood of Alexandria is now open to the public!

The interim open space provides community gathering areas, seating, joggle boards, a bocce ball court, horseshoe pits and a pingpong table. Equipment for these activities will be on a “bring-your-own” basis until loaner equipment can be made available for use.

The plaza along Fayette Street will be lighted and open until 10 pm. Here, you can see the lights are on. Hopefully, when the weather warms up, we can catch more folks out at night enjoying the new open space.
