Potomac Yard Metrorail Station Community Open House – Monday, April 13

Potomac Yard Metrorail station model in Alexandria, Virginia - option B

The public is invited to the third Potomac Yard Metrorail Station Community Open House scheduled for Monday, April 13, from 6:30 to 9:00 PM at the Cora Kelly Recreation Center, located at 25 West Reed Avenue in Alexandria, Virginia.

This Community Open House will cover specific potential environmental impacts covered in the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS), which has been approved for release by the Federal Transit Administration and the National Park Service. Staff will be present to assist the public in learning about potential environment impacts related to transportation, noise, vibration, construction access, and secondary and cumulative effects. This open house will have no formal presentation.

The DEIS document is available on the Potomac Yard Development webpage and at several City facilities: a complete list can be found online.

Comments can be submitted at any time throughout the EIS process to  Comments submitted between April 3 and May 18 will be responded to in the Final Environmental Impact Statement.
