  • EPA Awards Ceremony – 11th Annual U.S. EPA P3 Competition & National Sustainable Design Expo sponsored by the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency. University students will bring their sustainable technology ideas and demonstrations to be judged by members of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). At the end of the three day event a P3 Awards Ceremony will be held. In addition the National Sustainable Design Expo will showcase the sustainable practices and missions of many Federal Agencies and Nonprofit Organizations.
  • Happy Hour specials in Alexandria – See calendar for times and locations.
  • 1/2 price sandwiches @ The Rock It Grill – Get 1/2 price sandwiches with the purchase of a beverage. Dine-in only.
  • Potomac Yard Metrorail Station Community Open House 3 – The community open house will allow citizens to learn about and discuss the proposed Potomac Yard Metrorail Station alternatives. The open house is hosted by the Potomac Yard Metrorail Implementation Work Group (PYMIG). The community open house is open to the public and all members of the community are invited and encouraged to participate.
  • Film screening at The Alexandria Library – Alexandria SpokesWomen will host a screening of a classic bicycle film!
  • Alexandria-Caen Sister City Committee – Regular monthly meeting
