  • Project Discovery Walk-a-thon Each spring, the City of Alexandria hosts a Walkathon, the proceeds of which benefit Project Discovery. Ninety-one percent of last year’s Project Discovery graduating seniors continued their education at two- or four-year colleges or technical schools.
  • Alexandria Earth Day Celebration Program includes children’s activities; exhibits by community groups; food sales; recycling; Arbor Day tree planting; and a musical performance.
