Road Closures THIS Sunday Morning for 31st GW Parkway Classic

Final Stretch
If you’re heading around town and especially south of Old Town Alexandria, Virginia toward Mount Vernon, you may want to wait a while. The 31st annual GW Parkway Classic runs from Alexandria to Mount Vernon on Sunday morning April 26, 2015.

In Eisenhower East, you will see some activity as well as parking is provided at the USPTO East Parking garage. Shuttle buses are running from Eisenhower Avenue down to the starting line of the race.

Expect delays due to the road closures and plan extra time for travel. Here are the road closures for the race from APD:
