City Council Making Decision on Potomac Yard Metrorail Station Location this Week

Alexandria, Virginia City Council

See our previous posts on this project at this link. We told you MORE THAN six (6) months ago that the locally preferred alternative (LPA) location would be alternative B.

On Saturday, May 16, the Alexandria City Council held their last public hearing on the Potomac Yard Metrorail Station project. After hearing from the public, City Council will consider the selection of an LPA for the Potomac Yard Metrorail Station at a special meeting to be held on Wednesday, May 20, at 7:00 PM in the Council Chambers, 301 King Street.

We’ll have a LIVE blog going at 6:30 PM on Wednesday. Make plans to join us!

For more information about this project, please contact Lee Farmer or visit the City’s Potomac Yard website.  Formal comments can be submitted at any time throughout the EIS process to comments@potomacyardmetro.com.
