  • Attics & Alleys Tour @ Gadsby’s Tavern Tours begin at 9 a.m. and ends around noon. Choose from starting at the Lee-Fendall House (614 Oronoco Street) or Gadsby’s Tavern Museum (134 N. Royal Street). Tour includes stairs, access to confined spaces, and walking over many city blocks, including through alleys. Walking shoes required; tour will be held rain or shine.   • “Friends of Rocky Versace” 13th Annual Memorial Day Ceremony The “Friends of Rocky Versace” will host the 13th Annual Memorial Day Ceremony in Alexandria on Monday, 25 May 2015 at 11:00 AM. The approximately 1-hour Ceremony will honor posthumous Medal of Honor recipient, RANGER Hall of Fame inductee and Distinguished Member of the Special Forces Regiment Captain Rocky Versace, the 66 other Alexandrians who died during the Vietnam War and all those in uniform who made the ultimate sacrifice.
  • Alexandria Jaycees Meeting The Chapter meeting is an ideal forum to learn something new, to meet our most active members, and hear about our upcoming events. Come early at 6:45pm to get dinner, meet other Jaycees, and learn how to get involved!
  • 1/2 price sandwiches at the Rock-It Grill Get 1/2 price sandwiches with the purchase of a beverage. Dine-in only.
  • Memorial Day Jazz Festival Program will include entertainment by various bands and begin with a performance by The Army Blues Jazz Ensemble, from the U. S. Army Band “Pershing’s Own”. The other performers, in order are: Origem, featuring Brazilian Jazz; Halley Shoenberg Jazz Quartet featuring Modern Jazz; The Larry Brown Quintet, featuring Straight Ahead Jazz; and Night & Day Quintet featuring Swing/Big Band Jazz. There will also be food and beverage sales.
