Hume Springs Park Construction Begins Week of August 24

Hume Springs Park

The Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities will begin construction the week of August 24 at Hume Springs Park, located at 100 Dale Street in Alexandria, Virginia. The work includes installation of new playground equipment, replacement fencing, outdoor fitness equipment, seating areas, water fountain, and gardens. Weather permitting the work is anticipated to take approximately seven weeks. During this period, the park will be closed.
