Pope Francis’ Visit to Washington, DC – Latest Info

As readers know, Pope Francis will be visiting Washington D.C. from September 22 to 24. As Joe Biden would say, this is a BIG deal. Commuters and visitors should anticipate long delays, road closures, detours, and parking restrictions in many areas around Washington, D.C.

Here’s the latest…

Metro released its preliminary service information for the visit. Metro will run rush hour service pretty much throughout the day

WUSA9 has a good list of events and how you can get tickets to see the Pope during his visit. You can also view a similar list on DCInno.

The Washington Post has a good list of road closures and parking restrictions for the visit. Let’s just put it this way, if you don’t have to drive over these three days in D.C. don’t.
