Sunday Smile: ESPN’s First Pitch #PalateCleanser

Some time ago, I re-introduced the weekly palate cleanser posts (a.k.a. video of the week) on this blog. During the week, I post about road closures, stores opening, stores closing, news and things to do around Alexandria, Virginia. So, I thought maybe one post during the week could be just for fun. Therefore, a post that will cleanse the palate.

For this week, whether you have had a good week or a bad one, ICYMI, this video of ESPN’s 30 for 30 short film ‘First Pitch’ will surely put a smile on your face. This short film is REALLY well done and is well worth a watch. All 24 minutes are here for you.

With the 14th anniversary of September 11 this past week, there are many terrible memories to relive. This is one moment to cherish. Could it be because it was one of the last moments of national unity in the United States? Enjoy!
