Hume Springs Playground revitalization The local non-profit RunningBrooke, in coordination with the City of Alexandria Parks and Recreation Department and Rebuilding Together Alexandria, will conduct a major overhaul of the Hume Springs playground in Arlandria. Other partners include the Rotary Club of Alexandria, Simpson Development, and the Brickman Group. Geared to children under 5 years of age, the revitalization will include new play equipment, benches and tables, perennial gardens, a water fountain, lots of play areas for children and an adult fitness section.
