8th annual OTBD Scavenger Hunt continues… To celebrate its anniversary, the Old Town Boutique District will hold its 8th Annual Scavenger Hunt. From Thursday to Sunday, visit all of the Old Town Boutique District stores, get your passport stamped, and enter for a chance to win big prizes! Registered guests will have an opportunity to collect goodies at each store!

4MR Stage Concert Series – Lindsay Collette Lindsay Collette is a singer/songwriter who plays folk and rock with just raw emotion and who vows “I will never in my lifetime ask myself ‘What if?’ ”

Author Celebration/Book Fair at Beatley Library  Please join us at the Beatley Central Library for a Celebration of Local Authors. There will be a panel discussion about publishing, followed by a time for the authors to display their books and interact with the public. The afternoon will be from 1:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Presidential Salon with James Madison The date is September 27, 1815 and the war with England has drawn to a close. The salon with President James Madison discussing events as they unfold in his time is part of on-going series of presidential salons which began in 2010 honor of the bicentennial of the War of 1812. Public questions and opinions related to the salon topics are welcome and encouraged. Check-in is at Gadsby’s Tavern Museum, 134 North Royal Street. Reservations are recommended. Madeira, Port and other libations will be available for purchase at the event.
