Alexandria’s Leaf Collection Program 2015

Alexandria, Virginia’s fall leaf collection program began in October and runs through the beginning of January. The program is a service provided to all residents who receive City residential trash and recycling services.

Residents have the option of raking leaves to the curb for City vacuum trucks, bagging them for curbside collection, or composting their leaves.

Free biodegradable leaf bags can be picked up at various locations throughout the City.
