Cheesetique Dish Named Top 5 Thanksgiving Dish on Food Network

The City of Alexandria boasts a wide-variety of “foodie establishments” from formal dining to comfortably casual. One of them, Cheesetique, recently had a dish named a ‘Top 5 Thanksgiving Dish’ by the Food Network. Season 2 of ‘Top 5 Restaurants’ on the Food Network premiered November 16th with a look at the Thanksgiving dishes.

Here’s what Food Network had to say about Cheesetique’s ‘Mac & Cheestique’

Most people think of mac and cheese as a Thanksgiving side, but at Cheesetique in Arlington, Va., it’s the main dish. What makes this recipe so unique is its blend of three cheeses: Gouda made from goat’s milk, cacio de Roma made from sheep’s milk and Asiago made from cow’s milk. The dish features white truffle oil for earthiness and is baked with a topping of breadcrumbs.

You can vote for the favorite dish from the show at this link – guess who I voted for? If you’ve never been to Cheesetique, you don’t know what your missing (my fave is the Grilled Cheese). To learn more about Cheesetique, visit this link.
