Alexandria’s Charlie Brown ‘Christmas’ Tree on the Local News

This is an update to this post.

As one of the residents noted in the video above from ABC 7 News, it is complete horse-hockey about the beloved tree in the West End of Alexandria and definitely ‘Not Cool Bro’.

I have two problems with the City saying the tree was ‘leaning’

  1. If you look at the photos that have been posted on this site, does it look like it is/was leaning to you?
  2. If the tree was leaning, why couldn’t the City have tied string to the top to help force the tree upward?

The City’s explanation is complete ‘horse hockey’.

The City couldn’t have waited until after Christmas to cut down the lighted tree?
