After our earlier post went viral, readers built a memorial to the small ‘Charlie Brown’ evergreen tree that had been growing in the median of Duke Street against the Landmark Mall ramp in Alexandria, Virginia.

#2 – Decorator of Alexandria’s Charlie Brown Tree Comes Forward

After our earlier story went viral, the decorator of the small evergreen tree that had been growing in the median of Duke Street against the Landmark Mall ramp came forward. I don’t have permission to reprint his name but, here’s what he has to say about the tree being cut down and removed.

#1 – Alexandria’s Charlie Brown Tree is Gone?

The small evergreen tree growing alongside the ramp to Landmark Mall on Duke Street on the West-bound side has been annually decorated by someone in the area for Christmas as well on New Year’s Eve, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, and more was cut down unexpectedly.
