Take Your Pants Off Mission marks 15th year
Warning to Metro riders-
It’s that time of year – the polar bears take their plunge into freezing water and folks join together to take their pants off on Metrorail.
Sunday, January 10, the International No Pants Metro/Subway Ride! marks the 15th Annual ride in major cities around the world. The DC area will again be celebrating the silliness that is the no-pants metro ride. Participants will de-pants at a given time and place and act as if nothing is the matter.
The No Pants Subway Ride is a global event started by Improv Everywhere in New York 15 years ago and has since gone global.
The fun part? You too can take part in the silliness. As with all of the comedy group’s events, there is no need to RSVP, just show up. That’s right, if you are brave enough to ride public transportation without pants and keep a straight face, then join the crowd at Hancock Park in Washington, D.C. (just across from the L’EnFant Plaza Metro Station (7th & Maryland Ave exit) Sunday at 3:00 p.m.
