DASH Winter Safety Tips

  • Plan your travel ahead of time and visit to check for service or route delays.
  • Allow extra time for your commute due to potential delays with road conditions.
  • Know your route and pay special attention to changing and/or declining weather conditions.
  • Dress warmly. You may be outside longer than normal.
  • Do not stand in the street while waiting for a bus.
  • Use extreme caution when walking on exposed surfaces, including parking lots and station platforms. Never run for a bus or train.
  • Report any unsafe conditions to a DASH Operator.

As weather or road conditions change, you will be notified of any changes to DASH service. Stay connected with DASH through DASH’s websiteTwitter and Facebook pages for service announcements as they occur.
