Whiskey and Oyster restaurant under construction in the Carlyle neighborhood of Alexandria

New seafood restaurant from ‘Mango’ Mike Anderson in Alexandria, Virginia

As we have told you, a new seafood restaurant from ‘Mango’ Mike Anderson, called ‘Whiskey and Oyster’, is now under construction in the Carlyle neighborhood of Alexandria, Virginia in the old Pizzeria Venti space. This will be the first seafood joint in Carlyle and the restaurant will offer a variety of raw oysters, seafood choices, and a really long bar (hence the name change) in a 4,400 square foot space. This is the second joint to open in Carlyle from Mike, his wife Donna and business partner Bill Blackburn in Carlyle (Sweet Fire Donna’s is the other).

We hear this will be a late 3rd quarter opening.
