Alexandria Businesses Honor Public Safety Heroes #acocvalor

On April 20, 2016, the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce honored 16 public safety employees with Valor Awards for their heroic and life-saving actions. NBC Washington’s Eun Yang read each recipient’s act of heroism during the event.

Members of the Police, Fire and Sheriff departments in Alexandria, Virginia attended a luncheon where they received medals, Certificates of Valor and accolades for their response during life or death situations. Each recipient also received a personal letter of thanks from Senator Mark Warner.

Thank you to all our first responders!
