New Aldi Food Market Under Construction in Alexandria

Aldi Food Market under construction in Alexandria, Virginia
As we told you, a new Aldi Food Market – the 2nd of 3 planned in Alexandria, Virginia – is coming to the West End of Alexandria, Virginia. The new Aldi Food Market, is replacing the old Tres Hermanas restaurant at 4580 Duke Street in Alexandria.

ALDI received approval of their development special use permit and site plan with modifications  to construct a grocery store last summer. The approval included a special use permit request for a parking reduction that would allow them to have less parking on their property than required by current zoning law.

As we mentioned, we hear from our sources at ALDI that this location will be a 4th quarter 2016 (October – December) opening.
