Fast-casual Mediterranean food lovers in Alexandria, Virginia will be rejoicing as Cava Grill is opening THIS Monday, May 9. Residents will soon savor the spicy harissa, lamb meatballs and grilled chicken that has made Cava Grill popular elsewhere in the DMV.

The eatery , based in Washington, D.C., is opening their newest location at the Shoppes of Foxchase shopping center (4513 Duke Street to be exact).  The Mediterranean restaurant fills the space of PNC Bank.

This will be the eighth location for the company in Virginia. The Cava Grill brand is also opening restaurants soon in Gainesville, McLean, Vienna, and Columbia, MD to name a few.

Cava also sells its spreads in Whole Foods Market locations and other specialty stores on the East Coast.

On Monday, the Alexandria, Virginia restaurant will offer FREE meals to customers at lunch (11:00 am to 2:00 pm) as part of a “community day” in which it is encouraging patrons to donate to City Blossoms – a Washington, D.C., nonprofit that creates and tends green spaces for children in urban areas.
