Sports Authority Closes in Potomac Yard

Sports Authority storefront in the Potomac Yard Shopping Center in Alexandria, Virginia

This is an update to this post. Sporting goods chain Sports Authority earlier this year filed for bankruptcy, and put out a list of stores that it said would be closing as a result.

Now, Sports Authority is shutting down all of its 463 locations nationwide, including its Alexandria, Virginia location at Potomac Yard Shopping Center, as part of a liquidation process that was expected to last through August 31, 2016.

What type of store do you think should replace the Sports Authority store?
