City Councilman John Chapman Reappointed to Advisory Board on Service and Volunteerism
Yesterday, Gov. Terry McAuliffe announced his appointments to seven boards. The list includes Alexandria, Virginia’s City Councilman John Chapman who was reappointed to the Advisory Board on Service and Volunteerism.
Chapman was reappointed to the Advisory Board on Service and Volunteerism along with Jessica M. Bowser of Alexandria, The Honorable Terry C. Frye of Bristol, Zachary Leonsis of Washington, D.C., Amy P. Nisenson of Manakin-Sabot, Julie M. Strandlie, of Alexandria, and Steven A. Valdez of Arlington. Along with Councilman Chapman, Bowser, Frye, Nisenson and Valdez were reappointed.
Five were appointed to the Board of Housing and Community Development. Appointees were Helen Hardiman of Richmond, C. Richard Napier of Midlothian, Earl B. Reynolds Jr. of Danville, Jeffrey Sadler of Norfolk, and Steven Semones of Christiansburg. Semones was reappointed.
Karrie Delaney of Chantilly and Chris Rehak of Radford were appointed to the Commission on Youth. Dana Dickens III, Betty Jolly, and Vickie Williams-Cullins were appointed to the Small Business Commission. Dickens was reappointed.
Clarissa McAdoo Cannion of Suffolk, Thomas A. Gibson of Arlington, and David E. Ramos of Fairfax were appointed to the Virginia Housing Development Authority.
Kristine PJ Torres Caalim of Virginia Beach, Bonnie M. Grifa of Chesapeake, Kathleen M. McCauley of Richmond, and Daun Sessoms Hester of Norfolk were appointed to the Virginia Interagency Coordinating Council. All four appointees were reappointed.
Robert C. Hannon of Smithfield, Josh King of Woodbridge, Frances Caroline Lane of McLean, Kathleen Purdy Owens of Virginia Beach, and Naveed Shah of Fairfax were appointed to the Virginia War Memorial Board. Lane and Owens were reappointed.
