Power Outages Reported in Alexandria This Evening

UPDATE (7:59 PM): Dominion estimates time of restoration to be by 11:00 PM for the Rosemont outage just off Russell Road. Six residential homes remain without power this evening.

UPDATE (7:24 PM): Dominion now reporting the North Ridge outage is FIXED. Rosemont remains. Incident is just off of Russell Road.

After heavy rains on Friday and Saturday morning, 19 customers currently remain without power tonight in the North Ridge and Rosemont neighborhoods of Alexandria, Virginia, according to Dominion Energy. As of this evening, 672 customers in Northern Virginia are without power, about half of those in the Fairfax County area.

There is no indication of the cause in either incident in Alexandria. Dominion has not reported a timetable for restoration as yet.
